For the waterproofing and protection of the entire foundation and slab the PWD design teams choice was the Penetron Waterproofing System. 140'000 m3 of concrete was treated with PENETRON® Admix with sporadic use of other components of the PENETRON® system such as PENETRON® slurry and Penecrete mortar. The sub-structure part of this project was in its final stages in April 2003. The crack bridging abilities of the PENETRON® system have been superbly demonstrated on this project." |
