The Monterey bay aquarium is one of the main tourist attractions in the U.S.A.. More than 1.7 million people visit the aquarium annually. It was completed in 1982 and is dedicated to conservation of the oceans.

The Penetron system was used to successfully waterproof and protect all tanks, including the dolphin and sea lion pools.
